Courtney Stuart Fagen
Courtney Fagen died on February 28, 2020 at age 75 in Winter Haven, Florida where he lived.
He was born on March 6, 1944 in Chicago, Illinois. Being interested in science at a young age he built a two-stage rocket that went 200 feet in the air and built a Von-de-Graf generator and functioning Tesla coil. Courtney attended Mainland High School in Daytona Beach, Florida, and participated on the track and field team in the shot-put and discus. Having received a scholarship, Courtney attended the University of Tennessee (3 years) and majored in electrical engineering. His accomplishments in SEC Track & Field Championships were as follows:
His most notable job was in agriculture maintenance at Seald Sweet Orange Juice. Courtney was a member of First Baptist Church and First Assembly of God and lived his faith. |
