Pat Perry

Patrick (Pat) Barkley Perry, born in Greenville, SC on December 9, 1944, passed away peacefully on February 19, 2013.
Patrick was predeceased by his parents, James Barkley and Daisy Vaughn Perry, and brother, Michael Barkley Perry.
Patrick was a University of Tennessee graduate and retired from Southeastern Paper Company.
A super sports athlete having stellar track careers at Greenville High School and on scholarship at the University of Tennessee, Patrick held the indoor shot put record at Tennessee before finally being broken after 12 years. He was also a football recruiter for Tennessee reviewing talent in the Upstate of South Carolina and loved college sports football, basketball, baseball and track. He enjoyed going to football and basketball games with friends throughout the SEC and Big Ten conferences.
Patrick was also a high school football official in the Greenville area for some years. He always fondly remembered the fishing trips to Florida with his brother Mike and his dad.
He will be missed by his friends and his faithful companion, Seamus.
